Energy-efficient renovation and building
Have a policy in place for ensuring all renovations or new builds are following energy efficiency standards

The university is a member of the Green University Union of Taiwan, becoming a Green University after signing the Talloires Declaration (Evidence 1) in 2014. The Office of Green University Programs was also established in our university. To ensure a safe and quality campus environment, the “environmental protection, safety and health policy” was established in 2018 (Evidence 2), including pollution prevention, ecological circulation, energy-saving and carbon reduction, green campus, and prevention of damage to the safety and health of the learning environment policies. We persist in the goals of continuous promotion and participation of all people to implement improvement. Our university was ranked 307 among the “2020 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings” (which included a total of 912 universities worldwide, ranking in the top 33.66% and better than 37.94% in 2019) (Evidence 3).
