In order to enhance health and well-being, MCUT cooperates with healthcare institutions: (1) to prevent infectious diseases and accidents, the campus is equipped with an infirmary and has signed contracts with 30 local hospitals and clinics to receive medical care discounts; (2) MCUT has signed a contract with Chang Gung – a national hospital, to provide 20–40% medical care discounts with a 15% discount for students, looking after the health of the faculty, staff and their families; (3) seven research projects and one technology transfer project have been conducted, and one paper with local health institutions published; (4) 13 research projects and one technology transfer project have been conducted, and 152 papers with national health institutions published; and (5) two research projects conducted, and three papers with global health institutions published.
