MCUT supports the formulation of clean energy policies, including (1) participating in and becoming a member of the Green University Union of Taiwan; (2) jointly conducting clean energy research projects with local, regional, and national institutions; (3) teachers serving as regional and national environmental protection-related organizations, and working with governments to formulate policies on clean energy and energy-saving technologies; (4) forming an R&D team to develop the “High-Efficiency Translucent Perovskite Solar Cell Technology” and winning the “Research Innovation Award” at the “20th National Innovation Awards”; (5) building a solar microgrid energy storage system; and (6) initiating the Ministry of Education’s Talent and Technology Cultivation Base Project for the Energy and Battery Industry in 2023 to help nurture lithium-state battery technology talent.
