MCUT combines the records of the local government and NGOs and digitizes valuable cultural assets, including (1) the national Traditional Drum Arts Performance – Taishan Traditional Drum Arts competition, to pass on Taiwan’s traditional skills; (2) Taishan Painting Competition – Taishanyan Temple is the center of cultural beliefs, and through painting and observation, the beauty of the historic site is discovered. Regional (3) Sanxia Blue Dye – to understand the history and characteristics of the development of the traditional plant dyeing industry; (4) Taishan Miaokou Culture Workshop – tells the history of the pioneers who came to Taiwan and the beauty of traditional oriental artwork; and (5) promoting the culture of indigenous peoples and all documents are displayed in the School History Room. In 2023, three events of indigenous cultural practices were organized. By doing so, local residents and Taiwanese people will care and understand more about traditional cultures.
