MCUT’s policy for minimizing the use of plastics follows Article 21 of the Waste Disposal Act of the Ministry of Environment. MCUT implements plastic reduction management through the school’s environmental protection and safety and health policy under an ISO14001 management system. The use of disposable eating utensils is prohibited in the university canteen. Through organizing campus garbage reduction activities and seminars on recyclables, MCUT implements a campus plastic reduction policy. By doing so, the faculty and staff are able to reduce the use of plastics on their own initiative in daily life.
