Ming Chi has entrusted the “Procurement Department of the Administrative Division of Formosa Plastics Group” to purchase eco-friendly products that meet the green procurement criteria, and purchases products with eco-friendly and energy-saving labels provided on the website of the Ministry of Environment of the Executive Yuan and the website of the Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs. Ming Chi purchases energy efficient supplies according to the government’s Procurement Measure for Government Incentives and Subsidies. MCUT’s outsourcing contract specifies that the sourcing of the contractor must comply with the ethical sourcing policy. The campus has introduced the food ingredient registration system of the Ministry of Education. We have also formulated the “Food Management Procedures” to supervise the food supply for the students as well as the outsourcing contract. The results of the 2023 audit met the relevant requirements.
