MCUT endeavors to pursue SDG 6 – Clean water and sanitation. We promote multiple measures, including (1) “Greater Taishan Watershed Environmental Records and Educational Plan for Elementary and Junior High Schools”; (2) water quality testing in Taishan District; (3) exploring the changes in water resource in the Tamsui River watershed – with Xinzhuang and Taishan as examples; (4) care for Wugu; (5) optimizing water supply systems; (6) environmental monitoring and educational work; and (7) R&D of medical wastewater treatment technology. It is an ongoing effort of MCUT to protect local water resources and be dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
