The University introduced the ISO 14001 environmental management system to collect water and electric usage to establish energy saving measures in relevant units. The university has also invested 24 million in a solar power system on roofs of buildings and installed energy storage cabinet through industry-academic cooperation with Formosa Plastic Transport Corporation to increase the green energy ratio of the campus.
