◆ Formosa Corporate Scholars Program
The Formosa Corporate Scholars Program is a talent development initiative jointly established by Formosa Plastics Group and participating universities to bridge academic learning with industry practice. Selected students will participate in a paid internship at FPG during their senior year. Upon graduating and passing the performance evaluation, scholars who transition to full-time employment will receive a program scholarship and a formal job offer, achieving a seamless connection from campus to career.

◆ Selection Qualifications

Academic Performance: An overall academic average of 70 (or B- / GPA 2.44 under the letter grade system) or above for the recent two semesters (2nd semester of Freshman year & 1st semester of Sophomore year), and ranked within the top 30% of the class. (Students ranked between top 11%–30% must attach an "Advisor Recommendation Form")

Conduct Grade: A conduct score of 80 or above is required. Applicants must be selected and recommended by their respective departments.

Competitive Internship Salary: Internship compensation is aligned with the starting salary for associate degree graduates in the enterprise, which is higher than the standard internship compensation for current students. 👉 Scholar Intern Compensation: NT$ 36,700 / month

Direct Employment Opportunity: Students who successfully complete the internship and pass the enterprise evaluation will be directly hired upon graduation as an "Assistant Engineer / Assistant Administrator".

High Scholarship Upon Full-Time Hiring: After completing the internship and receiving a formal job offer, students will be awarded a substantial scholarship of NT$ 400,000 – 500,000 issued by the employer. (Requires a service commitment of 4–5 years as stipulated in the contract)

Tuition for the second semester of the junior year does not include miscellaneous fees such as housing, meals, etc.
While remaining on campus, Formosa Corporate Scholars must use hard-copy forms for all administrative processes, including course selection, leave requests, and merit/demerit applications
