Have a process for carbon management and reducing carbon dioxide emissions

To reinforce campus energy-saving, the “Office of Green University Programs” (Evidence 1) was established in 2006 to promote the energy-saving plan, which includes such items as afforestation, solar system installation, adjustment of ice water temperature of dispenser, smart street lamps, etc. To maintain campus quality of life, and pursue sustainable use of environmental resources, our university has established resources recycling channels and increased recycling volume of resources to reduce waste (Evidence 2). To reduce carbon consumption, our university has implemented “paper-free meetings” by using mobile phones and tablets. From November 2013 to September 2021, 2,981,053 A4 paper has been saved (Evidence 3).
