Some areas of the university were originally part of the 16-hectare industrial zone of Nanya Company. Some land for the plant has been alternatively constructed as an innovative building, and other land has been planned for the Ming Chi Innovative Technology Park under the industrial-academia development plan and industrial-academia mutual development center in the future.
