The university is a member of the Green University Union of Taiwan and, in 2014, signed the "Talloires Declaration." The environmental sustainability policy and achievements are detailed in the sustainability report. These achievements include the following: (1) Planning for new buildings, such as the pilot production and research and development building, which adheres to energy efficiency standards. (2) In 2016, the university received the "New Taipei City Low Carbon School: Silver Goose Level" from the Environmental Protection Department, New Taipei City Government, and in 2020, it was promoted to the Gold Bear Level. (3) Since 2019, the university has received the "Green Procurement Excellence Award" for four consecutive years. (4) In 2022, the university's ranking in the UI Green Metric World University Rankings improved from 262nd in 2021 to 248th.
