7.4.1 local community outreach for energy efficiency(2022)

The university regularly conducts workshops and outdoor excursions on themes like "Environmental Protection," "Green Consumption," and "Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction", to help improve energy efficiency in the local community. The university also regularly conducts water quality tests on the Guizikeng River and Dakekeng River in the community, publicly disclosing the results to residents and students to emphasize the importance of clean energy. Additionally, the university has established a sustainable agriculture demonstration base on its campus to promote zero-waste green agriculture, e.g., by employing the "Black Soldier Fly" breeding system, kitchen waste which would normally require energy-intensive processing is converted into a nutritional source for egg-laying hens.
