The university also regularly conducts water quality tests on the Guizikeng River and Dakekeng River in the community, publicly disclosing the results to residents and students to emphasize the importance of clean energy. Additionally, the university has established a sustainable agriculture demonstration base on its campus to promote zero-waste green agriculture, e.g., by employing the "Black Soldier Fly" breeding system, kitchen waste which would normally require energy-intensive processing is converted into a nutritional source for egg-laying hens.
