8.2.7 Tracking pay scale for gender equity(2022)

(1) When hiring teaching staff, the university strictly considers professional competence, academic qualifications, and experience. Equal pay for equal work is practiced, and gender has never been a basis for different compensation. The same principle applies to promotions. Evidence shows that salaries for colleagues hired during the same period (9 males, 9 females) are identical for individuals in the same job level.

(2) The university complies with the Work Rules in Chapter 9 of the Labor Standards Act that prohibits gender discrimination and implements measures to prevent sexual harassment, establishing a system for handling sexual harassment complaints.
