17.2.2 Cross sectoral dialogue about SDGs(2022)

update date : 2023-11-07

We engage in cross-sector dialogues both domestically and internationally. Faculty members from the university actively engage with NGOs and government agencies related to sustainable development, serving as directors, committee members, reviewers, or team leaders, collectively shaping policies. We address various issues, including net-zero emissions, sustainable business operations, green environmental protection, solar energy applications, environmental conservation, low-carbon circulation, electric vehicles, and interdisciplinary thinking and collaboration. To tackle these topics, we invite scholars from domestic industries, government, academia, Osaka University in Japan, and Monash University in Australia to collaborate on proposing solutions. This collaborative effort has resulted in the organization of 8 seminars and forums. We also host community meetings on USR issues, inviting stakeholders related to the topics for mutual exchange with faculty and students.
