12.2.7 Disposable policy: extensions to services(2022)

The university has implemented the ISO 14001 management system and formulated an Environmental Protection Health and Safety Policy to monitor the environmental impact. Through procurement led by the Procurement Division in collaboration with the Formosa Plastics Group, the university mandates that all external contractors, approved by government authorities, manage waste, including kitchen waste, in compliance with the Waste Disposal Acts and the university's environmental protection policy. The university also mandates that external contractors implement health and safety measures in their workplaces, sign safety operation notification forms, and undergo health and safety education.
