MCUT held seven free seminars on sustainable development in 2023, inviting academics, enterprises and international scholars to discuss energy efficiency improvement and clean energy goals. MCUT also joined hands with local enterprises to provide renewable energy, energy storage system consultation and smart energy-saving technology services. MCUT has actively trained a low-carbon transformation team and has nurtured 24 carbon inventory members and 19 GHG inventory applicators, and was selected as an industrial decarbonization counseling unit. In 2023, MCUT completed the carbon inventory payment service for four vendors; executed 28 cooperative projects amounting to TWD 60.45 million, transferred three technologies, amounting to TWD 1.3 million, obtained 21 energy-related patents, and published 98 international energy research papers, demonstrating its R&D strength.
