7.4.1 local community outreach for energy efficiency(2023)
MCUT continues to promote SDGs, including leading community residents in (1) participating in the National Green Expo to learn about clean energy and ways to save energy in everyday life, while also promoting green procurement and five major eco-friendly labels; (2) visiting Taipei 101, the tallest green building with LEED and WELL certifications to learn about how modern buildings are designed to be eco-friendly and conserve energy and how energy conservation can be applied to communities and the environment (3) organizing online seminars on SDGs to share about Chang Gung University’s sustainability action plans for green energy and energy conservation; and (4) constructing a demonstration site for sustainable agriculture and using the “Black Solider Egg” system to turn food waste that requires energy-consuming treatment into feed for laying hens, achieving zero-waste agriculture.
