17.2.5 Collaboration with NGOs for SDGs(2023)

Through education, MCUT supports sustainable clean energy, economic development and employment, including (1) offering programs in the field of lithium batteries, investing in the green energy industry, and working with TBA, ITRI and domestic and international universities; (2) joining hands with SOW to survey the types and amount of waste in the Tamsui River, providing important evidence for the Ministry of the Environment’s plastic source reduction initiative; (3) working with TIWA to collect Indonesian books and asking students to produce reports on the news about migrant workers who are serving time; (4) collaborating with local arts and cultural groups and inviting domestic and international artists to create artwork on-site, boosting cross-generational and cross-cultural exchanges; and (5) joining forces with ITRI to promote iPAS capability certification for EV, 3D printing, and intelligent manufacturing engineers.
