17.2.4 Collaboration for SDG best practice(2023)

Through WUR, AUR, and IR ranking systems, MCUT seeks partners with advantages in academic research and SDGs to find the best solutions for global sustainability goals, including (1) signing a tripartite agreement with KAIST and Formosa Smart Energy to accelerate the construction of lithium batteries and electric commercial vehicle production lines and promote the development of solid-state battery manufacturing. The scope of cooperation includes new battery technology, EV technology, and power management technology and (2) working with TBA, ITRI, five other universities and domestic lithium battery-related companies to offer related courses and develop lithium battery technology, achieving the best cooperation for net-zero by 2050.
