MCUT fully implements waste management and has introduced an ISO 14001 management system and formulated the Environmental Protection and Safety and Health Policy to fulfill the commitment to sustainable development. MCUT holds regular meetings with the Green University Promotion Committee to track the status of waste disposal. In 2023, general waste totaled 386.43 metric tons, of which 69.23 metric tons (17.92%) were recycled and 317.2 metric tons (82.08%) were incinerated. To further reduce waste, MCUT has promoted recycling and recuse activities since 2022 and organizes two second-hand bazaars a year. In 2023, 477 second-hand items were successfully sold, demonstrating the results of our proactive action for resource recycling and waste reduction.
